The rules of using PriorStudio.

• Use the hosted studio at app.priorstudio.ai for personal, research, or commercial work.
• Use the open-source toolkit (priorstudio-core, priorstudio, priorstudio-studio) under the Apache-2.0 license — the open-source side is governed by that license, not these terms.
• Share priors you publish to the public marketplace and fork those shared by others.

• Use the service to do anything illegal in the jurisdiction you're in or the jurisdiction we're in (the United States).
• Try to break, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or scan the service for vulnerabilities without our written permission.
• Use the hosted service to train models on data you don't have the right to use (third-party PII, copyrighted material under restrictive licenses, etc.). You're responsible for the data you bring.
• Resell access to the hosted service. The open-source toolkit you can wrap freely under Apache-2.0.
• Use the service to build a directly competing product that is itself a hosted PFN studio. We can't enforce this in court easily; we're just asking honestly.

One account per person. You're responsible for the security of your password and any actions taken under your account. If you spot abuse or unauthorised access, email security@profitops.ai and we'll lock the account within an hour during business hours.

You own what you put in. The priors, models, evals, runs, and any training outputs you create are yours. We claim no license to them other than what's strictly needed to operate the service (e.g. storing them on disk so we can run training when you click Run).

Public marketplace. When you publish a prior to the public marketplace, you grant other PriorStudio users a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to fork, modify, and use that prior under whatever open-source license you attach to it (Apache-2.0 by default if you don't specify). You can unpublish it any time; copies already forked into other workspaces continue to exist with their authors.

The hosted service is in private alpha and free at the time of writing. When paid plans launch, we'll publish prices on /pricing with at least 30 days' notice before billing any existing account.

Payment processing will go through Stripe; cards are stored at Stripe, not with us. Refunds within 14 days for any reason; after that, on the rare occasion something goes badly wrong, we make it right case-by-case.

We aim for high availability but make no formal uptime guarantee at this stage. A formal SLA arrives with the first paid tier. Maintenance windows are announced in-app at least 24 hours ahead when planned; for unplanned outages we update @priorstudio on X and (depending on severity) email registered accounts.

You can delete your account any time from app.priorstudio.ai → Account → Delete. Data deletion happens within 30 days; see the Privacy policy for the timing details.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. We'll email you first with the reason and a 7-day window to fix it, except when the violation is severe (security abuse, illegal content, etc.) in which case we act immediately.

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee training runs will converge, marketplace priors will train well on your data, or any specific output quality. That's the nature of ML; we do our best.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months prior to the claim (or, if you haven't paid us anything, $100).

We'll edit this document in place and bump the "last updated" date. For material changes that affect your rights (pricing, scope of what you can do), we'll email registered users at least 30 days before the change takes effect.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA (where ProfitOps Inc. is incorporated), without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the federal and state courts in Delaware.
